  Nobody ever plans for divorce. Fortunately during this difficult time, Amy held my hand throughout the entire process. They got me right in when I needed to speak to someone right away, and I walked away with a feeling I had retained someone who truly had my best interest at heart. They were prompt, explained everything, and always responded to any concern I had. Amy was professional and extremely caring, and not only did she protect my interests, but she did so with empathy and understanding. Divorce is extremely difficult , but knowing there are great firms out there like Marks Law Firm that are truly out to protect their clients vs just making a buck certainly alleviates some of the strain.

  I've hired Jonathan on more than one occasion. In each instance, he handled my cases skillfully and tactfully. At all times, Jonathan remained sensitive to the needs of my family, and never lost sight of the best interests of my children. He was extremely approachable and available, which was of paramount importance to me as a client. My last case involved a temporary restraining order with a subsequent motion to modify child custody. In this particular matter, time was of the essence - and Jonathan was able to expedite the proceedings in such a way that I was able to achieve my goals without delay. Ultimately, Jonathan won sole legal custody, and sole physical custody for me. I would highly recommend Jonathan to my friends and family, and have done so in the past. He is an outstanding attorney.

  I used Jonathan Marks for both my initial divorce proceedings and a recent motion to modify. He and Debbi are prompt in returning phone calls and emails. Jonathan understood (and was able to deal with) my roller coaster emotions during the entire process and he always made me feel comfortable during phone calls and meetings.. He was able to communicate the facts of my cases and i always knew the realistic expectations for outcomes. I especially liked that he fought for me to get what I deserved and what the law said I could get based on the evidence. Although he was certainly willing to go to trial if I did not get what I requested, he worked to get these results via a settlement. Although divorce stinks and there really are no 'winners', in the end, I was extremely happy with the outcomes.
